An autumn sunrise along a shoreline or
in the cattails
...flights of ducks set their wings to
drop over a spread of decoys. A set of decoys, a sturdy boat, a favorite
shotgun and a faithful dog are pleasures of the duck hunter. You can experience
this and pass it on to future generations. Our carving course could be
shared between grandfather and grandson, father and son or daughter, as
a way to keep a precious tradition alive. Offered in a workshop next to
a restored 1860’s log lodge, you’ll carve a decoy together, talk about
hunts, blinds, guns, duck species and experience the heritage of waterfowling.
The memories will be cherished by young and old alike.
